Virus definition distribution not updating

Most Live Update errors can be resolved following basic troubleshooting steps.The Symantec knowledge base contains solutions to common Live Update error codes. If connection to either website fails, check Internet cables and settings.Errors can occur preventing Live Update from distributing current definitions to Symantec antivirus.The most common failures occur due to Internet connectivity issues, management server communication errors and corrupt virus definitions.Also, tune the scheduling frequency down to one hour.For all other locations, make sure you use the SEP Manager to distribute product software and content updates.See Choose a distribution method to update content on clients.
